Other Information

Stage one of the process will be a Framework Competition to appoint discipline specific suppliers under the Lots identified above. Stage two will entail secondary competitions for suppliers who are successfully appointed to the Framework who will tender for bundles of works and will be appointed in line with the process and criteria described within the tender documents. The works will be undertaken under the NEC4 suite of contracts and the successful supplier will be expected to work collaboratively with the client and the other successful suppliers throughout the duration of the projects. Economic Operators are entitled to submit tenders for 1, several or for all separate individual Lots of the Framework. However please note that NI Water will not appoint the same Economic Operator or Group of Economic Operators to more than one Lot. This rule will not though preclude the appointment of an Economic Operator to one Lot and the appointment of the same Economic Operator as part of a Group of Economic Operators or as a subcontractor to another Economic Operator or Group of Economic Operators on another Lot. Further information on the MPPF can be found at https://www.niwater.com/new-procurements/. This information was previously shared within the Market Engagement sessions held by NI Water in September 2020 following the advertisement of the event on eTendersNI. The initial procurement documents for all Lots are expected to be published [end of March / early April] 2021 although this may be subject to change at the discretion of NI Water. Further information on the MPPF can be found at https://www.niwater.com/new-procurements/.
