Legal Justification
The Trust intends to enter into a nine year contract with Xiel Ltd for the provision of equipment maintenance and support services for the SunCHECK radiotherapy dose calculation system supported by the equipment manufacturer Sun Nuclear Corporation. The Trust believes there are no other suppliers able to offer these specialist medical equipment maintenance and support services, the provision of which is unique and exclusive to Xiel Ltd as the sole distributor of Sun Nuclear products and support within the UK.
