Description

The BBC is looking for the service of a Customer Data Platform (CDP), which will be responsible for data management, campaign management and activation. The service will ingest, host, model and manage data by connecting to the BBC’s data warehouse, and will manage platform access to this data. It will also oversee campaign creation, orchestration and activation across multiple owned, CRM and paid media channels. The spend range is over the term of 7 years. This includes 1 year for integration/transition, named "Year 0", and a period of three (3) years from the Service Commencement Date (the “Initial Term”). The Contract may be extended for further 3 years from the end of the Initial Term. The spend range over the 7 year term is between £8 million - £10 million. The spend ranges are not committed spend ranges, and are therefore "only an estimation" of spend that could be made through the Agreement.

Other Information

In the case of technology requirements, the BBC may involve its technology partner (Atos IT Solutions and Services Limited) to assist in the scoping and drafting of invitations to tender and/or the evaluation of tenders. However, the final decision as to which is the most economically advantageous (by reference to the award criteria) will be made by the BBC. The awarding authority reserves the right not to award a contract and to annul the procurement process at any stage. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in sterling and all payments will be made in sterling. The contract shall be subject to English law. The awarding authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any tender and reserves the right to accept part of a tender unless the tenderer expressly stipulates otherwise in the tender document.
