Description
NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board ("the Commissioner") are inviting suitably qualified providers to attend a virtual Market Engagement Event in relation to the Provision NHS Community Audiology Services.
Total Quantity or Scope
NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB commissions an adult (18+) direct access community audiology service. This service provides hearing assessments and, if necessary, the supply and fitting of one or two hearing aids along with follow-up support. Patients 55 and older can self-refer, whereas those younger than 55 require a GP referral. In the 2022/23 period, it delivered roughly 55,500 interventions.The purpose of this advert is to help facilitate engagement with the market to support the commissioner develop its commissioning and procurement strategy for this service.As part of this engagement, and to facilitate the above, the commissioner will be requesting providers to complete and submit a market engagement survey and is also inviting the market to register to attend an online market engagement event, which is scheduled for Monday the 20th May 2024.There will also be the opportunity for providers to attend 1:1 meetings with the commissioner following the market engagement event.The deadline for registration to attend the event and submit completed surveys is 17:00 on Wednesday 15th May 2024.Please note this is a market engagement exercise and does not commit the ICB to carry out any further procurement process.
