Total Quantity or Scope
This is an intention to award a contract under The Healthcare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 for the Provision of Primary Medical Care services to patients registered at the practice located at Withnell Health Centre. The contract shall have an estimated value of £6,640,604 for its initial term commencing on 01 October 2024 and ending on 30 September 2034. The total estimated value for the maximum term which expires on 30 September 2039 is £9,960,907. The value of the contract is subject changes in the number of patients registered with the practice over the term. The contract provides continuity of service for patients registered at the practice.

Other Information
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 23.59 on 30 July 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR.' The award decision was approved by the Relevant Authority's Primary Care Commissioning committee based on a recommendation from the procurement evaluation panel that evaluated the tender. No conflicts of interest were declared by any member of the procurement evaluation panel or the Primary Care Commissioning Committee. The criteria used to award the contract was mapped to the five Key Criteria as follows: (a) quality and innovation 65%; (b) value 2.5%; (c) integration, collaboration and service sustainability 12.5%; (d) improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice 10%; (e) social value 10% The provider the relevant authority intends to award the contract to was sole bidder in the procurement. The provider attained scores against those criteria as follows: (a) 46.5%; (b) 2.5%; (c) 10%; (d) 10%; (e) 10% Representations should be sent to lscicb.procurement@nhs.net by 23.59 on 30 July 2024 which is the end of the Standstill Period. If no representations are received, the Standstill Period will expire at that time Relevant Authority can proceed to award the contract.
