The Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract using the Most Suitable Provider process. The contract will ideally commence on 1st September 2024 and will be a 2-year contract without any extension options available. The value for the contract will be £87,500 per annum, so will total £175,000 over the 2-year period.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on Tuesday 23rd September 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Right to Cancel: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to discontinue the Most Suitable Provider process at any time, which shall include the right not to award a contract or contracts and in addition reserves the right to award only part of this contract. The Contracting Authority shall not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by any provider in connection with this Contract Notice, or in the completion or submission of any representation to the Contracting Authority. Any written representation needs to be made to mlcsu.tendersnorth@nhs.net The decision for award was taken by St Helens Place Senior Leadership Team on Friday 30th August 2024 and no conflicts of interest were identified. The key criteria for appointing the following provider were: Quality and Innovation - 20% Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice - 20% Integration, collaboration and service sustainability - 20% Value - 20% Social Value - 20% Providers were evaluated on the above on a pass/fail basis. The most suitable provider was appointed on the basis that all key criteria was scored as a pass.
