Other Information

This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. By virtue of Regulation 14 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 Liverpool City Council awarded a contract for services due to urgency in order to address an immediate risk to patient or public safety. The circumstances leading to this were receipt of a discontinuation notice from operator of the services who were unable to continue to provide services under an existing contract. Alternative provision was required to ensure the ongoing wellbeing of the residents receiving care and support at the home. Decision made by Andrew Lewis, Chief Executive, Liverpool City Council. There are no declared conflicts or potential conflicts of interest in relation to this decision.
