Description

The London Borough of Bromley is inviting tenders from potential providers who are skilled and suitably qualified to provider a specialist child weight management Service. The Service should be multicomponent and include diet, physical activity and behaviour change techniques. The successful Provider must be ale to foster good relationships with users and design services for children and their families that are fun, engaging, interactive, visual and practical. The Service will consist of two programmes: Programme A:- School-based approach and Programme B:- Targeted Tier 2 Weight Management Service. The Council is seeking to appoint one provider to undertake both programmes. The contract will start on 3rd February 2025 with a term of 2 years to 2nd February 2027.

Total Quantity or Scope

The London Borough of Bromley is inviting tenders for the provision of a Bromley Tier 2 Child Weight Management Service. All applications must be made through the Proactis e-tendering portal and not the contact details contained in this notice. The process will be conducted using the Competitive Procedure allowed for within the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) 2023. Evaluation of the tender will be based on the CIPFA evaluation model and in full compliance with the Provider Selection Regime (Competitive Procedure), the Council's contract procedure rules and the stated criteria. Evaluation of the Key Quality criteria will also include the application of minimum scoring thresholds. if a proposal receives a score below the required thresholds, then the bid may not be considered further. The minimum acceptable score is a requirement to obtain at least half of the available points in any particular area. An indicative use of this model can be downloaded from the Council's website. The Council may make use of the contract fir further negotiated arrangements to the extent permissible and in compliance with relevant procurement regulations. Prospective contractors are advised that the documents issued at this time in conjunction with the Find A Tender Notice may be supplemented and / or amended as provided for in the Regulations for use of the Competitive Procedure.
