INTENTION TO AWARD NOTICE. This notice is an intention to award a contract under the PSR competitive process regulations, please note contract will not be awarded until successful completion of mandatory standstill period as required under PSR 2023 Regulations. NHSE939 Lot 1 Primary Care Services (including Substance Misuse) and Lot 2 Mental Health Services (including Learning Disabilities and Autism) for West Yorkshire adult male prisons within His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). 1 | for Primary Care Services (including Substance Misuse) This notice is an intention to award a contract under the PSR competitive process, please note the Relevant Authority will not award a contract until the successful completion of the mandatory 8 day standstill period. Lot 1 for Primary Care Services (including Substance Misuse) Approximate lifetime value of the contract - £91,953,739 This is an existing service. The new contract, is for 6 years, with effect from 01 April 2025, with the option to extend for a further 3 years subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance and at the discretion of the Relevant Authority. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 04 November 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the competitive process of the PSR. Any representations should be sent via the messaging section on the atamis portal for this project (NHSE939 Primary Care & Mental Health Services for WY Adult Male Prisons, Contract Ref - C292686) and via email to necsu.psrprocurement@nhs.net NHS England - North East and Yorkshire Local Governance Group (LGG) and Regional Leadership Group (RLG) were the award decision-makers. Conflicts of interest were managed throughout the process. Providers were asked to demonstrate and evidence, by responding to specific questions, how their proposed service delivery model will ensure that the relevant key criteria will be delivered for service users. the responses to specific questions will provide evidence under the relevant Key Criteria.
