Description

Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB invited tenders for the provision of a Community Wellbeing Service. This proactive prevention provision aims to meet the needs of adults who are at risk of and/or who have multiple long-term conditions/health and care needs and who may not be engaging with other health services.

This notice is an intention to award a contract under the competitive process. Description of the services to be provided: Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB invited tenders for the provision of a Community Wellbeing Service. This proactive prevention provision aims to meet the needs of adults who are at risk of and/or who have multiple long-term conditions/health and care needs and who may not be engaging with other health services. The lifetime value of the contract is £4,350,000.

Quality and innovation; value; and Improving access and reducing health inequalities were viewed as the most important of the key criteria due to the nature of the services provided. Integration, collaboration and service sustainability; and social value were also considered within the assessment.
