Description

Central Housing Investment Consortium Limited ( CHIC ), a central purchasing body and consortium vehicle whose members comprise public organisations principally providing publicly funded housing of various types and undertaking asset management and new build development in various locations, is seeking to procure the appointment of an organisation to provide the services, described in the ITT documents, to support its business and members and to enter a long term service provision contract for that purpose.

Renewal Options

The contract will be of a duration of five years plus optional three year and further two year extensions.

Other Information

Kennedy Cater is managing this procurement on behalf of CHIC and any questions relating to this procurement should be made via the Delta messaging facility. The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. This procurement process is being undertaken using the Delta electronic tendering system and is being run as a one stage open procedure. Suppliers will need to register an interest on the system and submit a tender submission no later than 13:00 hours on 24th February 2021 in order to participate and registration is free. Tender submissions cannot be uploaded after the return deadline. The Contracting Authority reserves the right at any time to vary the timescales in this notice, cease the procurement process and not award the contract. If the Contracting Authority takes up any of these rights then it will not be responsible for, or pay the expenses or losses, which may be incurred by any candidate or tenderer as a result. Economic operators are solely responsible for their costs and expenses incurred in connection with the preparation of their tender submissions and all stages throughout the procurement. Under no circumstances will the Contracting Authority be liable for costs or expense borne by the economic operators.
