Cefas (The Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science) the 'Authority', is an Executive Agency of the UK Government's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). It is an applied science agency that primarily supports government decision making whilst extending its reach across the public sector, the EU and wider markets where possible in regard to marine and closely related environments. Requirement: 1. Approximately 113 units required for temperature monitoring and compliance suitable for a laboratory environment to monitor temperatures over wide working ranges 2. To be able to electronically record this information to comply with our quality standards including ISO9001, ISO17025 and GLP. 3. All items need to be traceable to a reference thermometer either directly or other process. 4. The solution would need to operate within all temperature parameters as stated above in section 1 and include stated uncertainty and offset within range. 5. Full working instructions to be included and consideration of service and maintenance requirements. 6. Requirement to be able to carry out temperature profiling with adjustable time setting for readings and to work over specific ranges for different pieces of equipment. 7. Must have Data logger resolution of 0.02°C, must be accurate to <1°C 8. Out of tolerance alert - email as minimum requirement 9. Potential of calibration also by existing internal methods.
