Soft market testing to inform Adult Education provision from August 2022BackgroundWSCC currently receives c. £3.1m of ESFA AEB funding annually, c. £1.25m Adult Skills, c. £1.9m Community Learning. WSCC commissions subcontractors to deliver provision for West Sussex residents. Provision is currently delivered in approximately 80 venues across West Sussex to over 3,000 adults each year. Adult Learning AimsThe overarching ambitions for West Sussex County Council’s Adult Education Service are: • To maximise adult participation in education and training in order to achieve economic growth, full employment, social inclusion, community cohesion, health and wellbeing.
