Description

The National Health Service Commissioning Board (which uses the operational name ‘NHS England’) has established a framework agreement in which NHS England acting for itself and other NHS bodies (Clinical Commissioning Groups (‘CCGs’), NHS Trusts and NHS Foundation Trusts) for the purpose of this procurement (each a ‘Contracting Authority’ and together the ‘Contracting Authorities’) award contracts or sub-contracts for a range of clinical services (the ‘Framework Agreement’). The awarded clinical services under the Framework Agreement include: 1) NHS inpatient and day case services (including full supporting pathology and imaging) and urgent elective care and cancer treatment in line with nationally set criteria; 2) NHS Diagnostic Services; 3) Clinical facilities and related services (the ‘Services’).

All awards under the Framework Agreement are to support the contracting authorities’ ability to manage reduce waiting lists by purchasing additional activity from the awarded providers against the framework agreement services. This notice advises of signed contracts under this framework which total x67 providers. x98 providers bid, with x88 meeting the criteria. The Award of the framework agreement is on behalf of the National Health Service, namely NHS England, all Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS Trusts, NHS Foundation Trusts and each of their successor bodies. This Contract Award Notice represents the suppliers that have entered into the Framework Agreement as at the date of this notice. There are 21 successful suppliers yet to enter into the framework agreement. A further Contract Award Notice will be published once all suppliers have entered into the Framework Agreement. For the duration of the Framework NHS England reserve the right to publish a new contract notice to provide potential service providers (whether or not bidders/providers under this procurement) the opportunity to apply to join the framework under a framework refresh.
