Description

Lincolnshire County Council is undertaking a procurement exercise for its regulated Homecare Services, in line with Regulations 74-76 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR), the Light Touch Regime, and pursuant to 2 / 8 Regulation 76(7) of the PCR. Homecare Services will meet the health and social care needs for adults aged 18 and over who are ordinarily resident in Lincolnshire. Care will be provided in the home (including Extra Care facilities) covering a range of care and support to enable individuals to maximise their independence for as long as possible and maintain their safety. The contract will be divided into lots with a single, lead provider awarded in each of the twelve (12) areas. The contracts will run for an initial contract period of five years (including an implementation and mobilisation phase) with the option to extend for a period or periods of up to a further 3 years. The main purpose of the contract will be to provide regulated domiciliary care services to individuals eligible for Social Care under the County Council. In the life of the contract it may also be necessary to purchase additional volume on behalf of local Heath bodies (CCGs) and if so this will be on the same terms as the Council service.
