Jisc Services Ltd has entered into a contract with Taylor and Francis Group Ltd for access to the full text journal content in the Taylor and Francis Library, or the SSH, S&T, and the Medical Collections. The service will be supplied to Jisc Collections member institutions, not to Jisc Collections itself. Institutions can take advantage of a heavily-discounted APC rate.

Legal Justification
The publishing service is unique to the supplier. Therefore Jisc is clear that the arrangement falls within the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights, contained within Regulation 32(2)(b) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, permitting Jisc to enter into the direct award.
Other Information
The contract value is an estimate based on the aggregate sum of the licence fees that will be paid to the supplier by Jisc member institutions; Jisc Collections itself makes no payment to the supplier for this service.
