Description

Liaison and Diversion is a process whereby people of all ages passing through the criminal justice system are assessed and those with mental health concerns, learning disabilities, substance misuse problems and other vulnerabilities are identified as soon as possible in the justice pathway. The Liaison and Diversion (L&D) Service shall provide early intervention for vulnerable people as they come to the attention of the criminal justice system. The Service shall provide a prompt response to concerns raised by the police, probation service, youth offending teams or court staff and provide critical information to decision-makers in the justice system, in real-time, when it comes to charging and sentencing these vulnerable people. The L&D Service shall act as a point of referral and provide assertive follow up for these vulnerable people, to ensure that they can access and be supported to attend treatment and rehabilitation appointments. The procurement has been split into two lots; Lot 1 - Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire (West Mercia) - £1,885,531 per annum (excluding VAT) Lot 2 - Coventry and Warwickshire - £1,346,683 per annum (excluding VAT) Organisations wishing to submit a bid will need to register on the Arden GEM EU Supply website and complete the ITT documentation at the following location: https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=UK The ITT documentation should be completed by the closing date of 14:00hrs on 25 June 2021.
