Legal Justification
The cable procured under this contract is to replace an oil-filled cable which has been reported to leak over 3 600 litres, with further leaks expected. In order to remedy urgently this environmental issue, SSE invited all suppliers meeting region and product codes criteria on Achilles UVDB directly to tender without a pre-qualification.
