Notice of abandonment of procurement. In accordance with Regulation 75 (1) Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 we advise you that we no longer intend to continue with this competitive procurement process commenced by the OJEU Notice dispatched 14 November 2019 for the following reasons: Scottish Power has recently become aware of a risk that not all bidders may have been treated equally as regards the assessment of information provided during the tender process. In light of the obligations upon Scottish Power, it considers it appropriate, and compliant with principles of proportionality, equal treatment and transparency, to exercise its discretion, in accordance with its tender documents, not to proceed to contract award and to abandon this process. Please note that Scottish Power intends to commence a new procurement process for these services. You should contact us if you would like further information about this new process.

Total Quantity or Scope

Services to provide Security Manned Guarding, Alarm Receiving Centre, Pass Office and Receptionist Services that will cover the sites and roles within the operational requirements. In addition to the operational requirements, in respect of manned guarding and reception duties, there is also a requirement of the successful contractor to undertake additional duties at any of the ScottishPower premises or sites in the UK and Republic of Ireland at short notice and for an undetermined period of time to cover unforeseen emergencies and operational requirements.
