Description

Call-off contracts under a dynamic purchasing system for the supply of antibiotics and intravenous fluids (call-off exercise Round 5).

Total Quantity or Scope

The contracting authority has established a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) agreement and this award notice confirms the completion of Round 5 call-offs. The DPS will be used to maintain a stockpile of various antibiotics and intravenous fluids with each specific individual call-off exercise confirming the final product(s) requirements and product volumes.

The DPS arrangement shall be valid up to a period of 10 years (unless extended in line with the regulations) resulting in any number of specific call-off exercises being conducted at any time with specific contracts awarded as appropriate.

Value – in accordance with regulation 50(2) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, the contracting authority is publishing the range of the values of the tenders considered for this procurement, being £[lowest] — £[highest]. In section V of the CAN, the individual contracts awarded in this procurement give a nominal value because this is a technical requirement of the Atamis platform. The contracts are for the benefit of the contracting authority and NHS Bodies along with any other non-NHS body which are necessary for the delivery of services or goods to NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, other government departments or non departmental public bodies charged with the delivery of healthcare or health related services in the UK, Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories including without limitation — the National Assembly for Wales, the Northern Ireland Assembly and Scottish Ministers. The resulting products delivered against the contract(s) may be made available to the UK Devolved Administrations, Crown Dependencies and British Overseas Territories.
