Description

The Association of North East Councils trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) Framework Agreement award for Furniture. The Framework Agreement provides a compliant multi-supplier, multi-lot solution for the supply, delivery and installation of furniture across a variety of public-sector settings.

Lot Division

1 Office Furniture & Home Working

Supply, delivery and installation of general office furniture and associated services including but not limited to office seating, desking, tables, desk screens - including protective Coronavirus solutions - monitor arms and storage solutions. Suppliers provide a comprehensive range of furniture for a variety of office settings, including reception, conference, dining and bespoke solutions along with any home working requirements of Contracting Authorities. The Framework Agreement for Furniture is to be made available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to Government Departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, central government, NHS bodies, local authorities, emergency services, coastguard emergency services, educational establishments, registered social landlords and registered charities who have a need to purchase the above supplies. The Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of ten (10) suppliers on to each lot. Awarded suppliers will then be mapped on a matrix which demonstrates their specialisms and their ability to supply geographically. The contracting authority will issue a call-off by way of direct award without opening up competition or through the operation of a mini-competition. The call-off contract will be on the terms specified in the call-off terms and conditions, supplemented as appropriate by such details as price and quantity which will be specified in the call-off order.

2 Educational & Library Furniture

Supply, delivery and installation of educational and library furniture to meet the requirements of nursery, early years, primary, secondary, higher educational and further education establishments and associated services. Suppliers provide a comprehensive range of furniture for a variety of educational settings, including dining, library and bespoke solutions. The Framework Agreement for Furniture is to be made available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to Government Departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, central government, NHS bodies, local authorities, emergency services, coastguard emergency services, educational establishments, registered social landlords and registered charities who have a need to purchase the above supplies. The Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of ten (10) suppliers on to each lot. 3 Residential Furniture (Social Care)

Supply, delivery and installation of residential furniture and associated solutions to meet a variety of social care requirements, including care homes, social housing providers and council tenancies including immediate provision of furniture for temporary accommodation. Suppliers provide a comprehensive range of living solutions including whitegoods and kitchen appliances, along with other household items, such as cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. The Framework Agreement for Furniture is to be made available for use by all contracting authorities throughout all administrative regions of the UK (as defined by the Public Contracts Regulations 2015) including but not limited to Government Departments and their agencies, non-departmental public bodies, central government, NHS bodies, local authorities, emergency services, coastguard emergency services, educational establishments, registered social landlords and registered charities who have a need to purchase the above supplies. 4 Reserved Contracts (Supported Businesses)

Regulation 20 of the Public Contracts Regulations (PCR 2015) focuses on opportunities for social and professional integration of disadvantaged or disabled workers and allows Contracting Authorities to restrict the tendering process to organisations meeting the relevant criteria of a Supported Business.
