Description
The scope of the project comprises the design, supply and install of a new accessible toilet cabin to the rear of the existing visitors centre. The works include services connections, associated groundworks and the provision of a small footpath to connect the new toilet cabin into existing footpaths. The Shirebrook Valley is a nature reserve located in Sheffield. The site allows people from urban areas access to nature, valuable in benefiting health through learning and exercise. Its visitor and education centre has recently undergone a refurbishment through Public Health investment. This project, which is partially funded from the Veolia Environmental Trust will see a new disabled toilet installed, improving accessibility to the site for a number of local groups and schools to use the site. The new facility will also enable new groups to be set up, such as a local dementia café.
