The Controlling Authority is Liverpool City Council. School Improvement Liverpool Ltd (SIL) is a company controlled by the local authority within the meaning of part V Local Government and Housing Act 1989. School Improvement Liverpool Ltd manages the Liverpool School Swimming Programme. This consists of a school package to improve the swimming ability of children across Liverpool in line with the National Curriculum standards. The School Swimming Programme is operated in seven swimming pools across the city of Liverpool. Transport is needed for six of the pools. A coordinated transport system needs to be in place to support this programme.
Contract may be extended by a further 12 month period.

- 60100000 - Road transport services
- An E-Catalogue is required.
- Restrictions apply to the lot award allocation.
- This is a one-off contract (no recurrence)
