Description

Heathlands Care Home is a major new health and care facility to deliver an integrated care to meet the growing dementia and nursing need in Bracknell Forest. Heathlands Care Home will consist of a Dementia Nursing Care Home and an Intermediate Care Service. Bracknell Forest is seeking a provider who, as well as delivering the Dementia Nursing Service, will provide excellent hotel and facilities management services across both services, value an open and collaborative, partnership approach and deliver safe, high quality, value for money and person-centred services.

The contract will be for a maximum term of 10 years Full details can be found on the South East Business Portal - https://sebp.due-north.com/ This procurement process is being completed under the "Light Touch Regime", governing "Social and Other Specific Services" detailed in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The evaluation will be staged, details of which are included in the procurement documents. The tender evaluation team will include representatives from the Council, Frimley Health Foundation Trust, East Berkshire Clinical Commissioning Group and service user representative(s). A Prior Information Notice for this opportunity was published on Find a Tender Service on 17 February 2021, reference 2021/S 000-003162. Organisations must register their interest on this South East Business Portal site in order to receive any changes or notifications issued by the Council during this tender process. The Council will not be held responsible for lack of communication to any organisation who does not register their interest. Clarification questions must also be submitted through this site. This is a contract with an initial period of 60 months (5 years) with two optional extension of 36 months (3 years) plus 24 months (2 years) subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. The estimated total contract value ranges between GBP 8,000,000 and GBP 18,000,000 depending on the actual usage and contract term.
