Description

Plymouth City Council (“The Council”) will shortly be seeking to re-procure its Contract for the ‘Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Bus Shelters and Information Panels (Advertising Concession)’. The new Contract will consist of upgrading, and maintaining the city’s public transport infrastructure and associated advertising within bus shelters and on Information Panels that will deliver income generation and improve public transport facilities in line with The Council’s Corporate Plan - https://www.plymouth.gov.uk/aboutcouncil/corporateplan, Plymouth Plan - https://www.plymouth.gov.uk/planningandbuildingcontrol/plymouthplanhttps://www.p... and the wider Joint Local Plan - https://www.plymouth.gov.uk/sites/default/files/JLPAdoptedVersion.pdf.

Total Quantity or Scope

The current contract for Sponsored Supply and Maintenance of Street Furniture will terminate on 3rd September 2022, with a new Concession contract anticipated to commence on 4th September 2022. It is envisaged this will have an initial term of ten (10) years with provision to extend by a further two (2) periods of five (5) years. It is envisaged the new Contract will include but not be limited to, provision of Bus Shelter infrastructure and Information Panels including supply, installation maintenance, and delivering digital and non-digital advertising revenue opportunities. The estimated date of publication of the Concession notice is February 2022 and it is anticipated that The Council will be using the Open procedure.
