Description
Post Office Limited ('POL') operate a Commercial Fleet of in excess of 250no. Vehicles. Our Fleet obtain Fuels by means of Fuel Cards, making use of public forecourts. However, POL have recently taken the decision to recommission on-site Fuel Bunker at our Newcastle facility as a means of providing contingency to any future interruptions to the supply of Fuel at forecourts. POL ran a further competition against the CCS Framework RM6177 (National Fuels 2) Lot 1 (against the appropriate regional sub-lot), for the supply of HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) or Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel and shall be making use of the Call-Off Terms of that framework.

Other Information
This was in line with PCR 2015 running a further competition fairly and equally between suppliers giving them all the same chance to bid and used and weighted scoring criteria to assess their pricing responses. After this evaluation, we concluded that Watsons Fuels were the winning bidder and the contract was awarded to them. There is zero committed spend against this call-off order. The estimated maximum total annual value is £88,106.00. However, this is based on a full year using on site tanks. For the avoidance of doubt tanks are to be used as a contingency only in the event of interruption to forecourt fuel supplies it is therefore likely that annualised spend will be significantly lower than the above estimate (Likely zero). Post Office have clearly communicated to the Supplier that we do not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantities against the proposed call-off order.
