Description

• Devon County Council and Torbay Council Public Health Team currently commission a condom distribution service, C-card Scheme, for young people (age 13-24 years) across Devon and Torbay. • The service will primarily focus on digital outreach, targeting sexually active individuals aged 16-24 years enabling self-care and user-led online condom ordering. It will also include provision for those young people under 16 most at risk of poor sexual outcomes. • There is an opportunity to co-produce and recreate the condom distribution service based around the needs of sexually active young adults and those young people most at risk of poor sexual outcomes. • Providers are invited to consider how the service could operate and maximise reach, impact, and effectiveness within the parameters of the existing budget. Commissioners of the service are open to reshaping the delivery and identity of the service to make condom use easy and attractive to young people and to enable the target group easy access to free resources which promote safer sex, positive and respectful approaches to relationships and condoms. • We invite a provider that can deliver this service across Devon and Torbay and welcome collaboration to deliver this contract through a compliant partnership bid. • The timetable for this opportunity will be advertised in due course.
