Description
Lancashire County Council is tendering for an organisation/s to provide statutory Advocacy Services to the people of Lancashire. The procurement is made up of two lots: Lot 1 Lancashire Advocacy Hub Lot 2 Lancashire Carers Service. These will be two separate services although they are integral to each other. Co-operation between these services is mandatory and mechanisms to facilitate that co-operation are stipulated throughout the Service Specifications Lot 1 - Lancashire Advocacy Hub The Advocacy Hub will be an independent advocacy service (""the Lancashire Advocacy Hub"" or ""the Hub"") to ensure that all eligible people will have access to advocacy. Lot 2 Lancashire Carers Advocacy This will be a distinct service exclusively for carers. The service will provide all statutory advocacy for carers under the Care Act, will seek to increase awareness of the rights of carers under the Act, and liaise closely with the Independent Advocacy service, the Carers Assessment and Support Service and other council-procured services to promote the availability of and engagement with the new Carers Advocacy service. This is a Light Touch, Schedule 3 Procurement process. The Service Specification and other ITT documentation describe the Authority's requirements in delivering the Service and can be found as attachments to Negotiation LCC 11691 on Oracle Fusion (Sourcing Supplier).
