Description
Vascular Therapy Compression Hosiery and Associated Products including: anti-embolism stockings (knee length, thigh length, full length, tape measures, applicators); Intermittent Pneumatic Compression (IPC) therapy (sleeves/wraps/cuffs); electro stimulation and other alternative methods; graduated compression garments; leg ulcer kits, lymphedema garments, Donning and doffing applicators, together with all associated products. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of £11,000,000.00 to £15,000,000.00 in the first year of this Framework Agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the Framework Agreement. Estimated value over the maximum framework agreement term (4 years) will be £60,000,000.00 .

1 | Anti-Embolism Stockings and Accessories A single patient use ready to wear garment intended to fit tightly over the leg and foot to apply compression/pressure to aid venous return and reduce the incidence of deep vein thrombosis. |
2 | Sequential Intermittent Pneumatic Compression Garments and Accessories An inflatable device in the form of a stocking or sleeve intended to be applied to the limbs externally to promote venous blood flow and/or lymphatic flow. As part of a compression system, the device applies pressure through the sequential inflation of several chambers. |
3 | Universal Intermittent Pneumatic Compression Garments and Accessories An inflatable device in the form of a stocking or sleeve intended to be applied to the limb externally to promote venous blood flow/lymphatic flow. As part of a compression system, the device applies pressure through the intermittent inflation of a single-chamber. |
4 | Graduated Compression Hosiery and Accessories A single patient use ready to wear garment intended to fit tightly over the leg and foot, to apply compression/pressure to aid venous return. Does not include adjustable compression wraps/garments with velcro straps. |
5 | Upper Limb Compression Garments and Accessories A single patient use ready to wear garment intended to tightly fit over and apply compression/pressure to the arm and/or hand. Does not include adjustable compression wraps/garments with velcro straps. |
6 | Graduated Compression Hosiery Kits and Accessories A single patient use ready to wear kit containing two liners and compression garment intended to fit tightly over the leg and foot to apply graduated compression. Kits must deliver 40mmHg +/- 20% of compression. Includes those for the treatment of oedema. |
7 | Calf Muscle Medical Electro Stimulation Devices An electrically powered device applied to the lower leg designed to improve blood circulation. |
