Description

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) intends to publish a tender opportunity for the Girls in Rwanda Learn (GIRL) in December 2023. The Opportunity Notice and Contract Notice will be published on the Contracts Finder and Find a Tender Service (FTS) websites respectively to alert the market and provide the instruction on how to access the tender documents via the FCDO Procurement portal.

Total Quantity or Scope

The UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is looking to engage a supplier to deliver technical assistance (TA) to focus on foundational learning outcomes in English and Mathematics in primary education, with an even stronger focus on girls’ education and inclusive education in Rwanda. This TA contract for the Girls in Rwanda Learn programme (GIRL) will run between the April 2024 until June 2030. High level objectives of GIRL are: 1) improving foundational learning outcomes in English and maths and 2) ensuring the most marginalised girls and children with disabilities can access education, stay in school, and learn through targeted interventions.

The event will introduce the requirements to the market, bringing together prospective implementing partners from across local and international markets and use these discussions to inform key design decisions as we develop the programme.
