Job Title: Project Manager - MMH (Midland Metropolitan Hospital) Rate of Pay: ?26.23 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Location: Sandwell Council House, Freeth Street, Oldbury, B69 3DE. Start Date: ASAP Contract type: Agency Job Description and Personnel Specification are attached, which also provides more information above the role. Brief description: We are looking for an experienced and highly-motivated individual to join our team as a Project Manager. You will be responsible for assessing the likely additional demand for Social Care and Community Health Services for Adults at Risk following discharge into the Sandwell place from the new Midland Metropolitan Hospital which is due to open next year. The additional demand is expected to be generated from, but not limited to, areas including: o Mental health assessments o Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards o Homeless people o People with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRtPF). You will be responsible for developing effective and robust demand, capacity and cost projections and liaising with executive officers and service leads across the Place of Sandwell as required to ensure sufficient service capacity and resources are available to meet the expected changes in demand following the opening of the new hospital in June 2024. As an expert professional in relation to your area of responsibility, you will provide appropriate briefings, guidance and advice to the Assistant Director for Commissioning, Integration, and the Adult Safeguarding Board, and other key partners to inform decision-making. Collaborative relationships will be developed with all key stakeholders, including the social work teams and acute and community care services as required. Post requirements: o Basic Disclosure and Barring Check. o Educated to degree level, or equivalent level 5 qualification, in a related subject. o Professional Social Care qualification o Registration with HCPC/SW England
