NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) is seeking to engage with potential providers to understand the position of the market for commissioning a Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Pathway for Patients Presenting in General Practice. BNSSG ICB ("The Commissioner") is intending to commission a service for the initial assessment of people presenting at their GP practice with a suspected DVT, direct access to an ultrasound scan where indicated and initiation of treatment for those with a positive DVT by clinicians with specialist knowledge for patients registered with a Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire GP practice or classified as a temporary resident.
