Description

Enabling and Shell & Core Works Package for the transformation of the Grade II Listed Wrexham Museum building and site into the new joint Football Museum for Wales and Wrexham Museum. It is desirable that the organisation also has competence in completing projects within Grade Listed buildings located in conservation areas. Basebuild contractor, responsible for strip-out of existing setwork and services. Installation of new services, walls, flooring, roofing and window replacements. The works will also involve structural alterations to the building and the installation of a new lift shaft and passenger/ service lift.

Open Procedure with two stages. Please see the ‘Museum of Two Halves Base Build’ PQQ documentation and appendices. The Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) will be advertised though a Notice on the Sell2Wales website, but will be published and hosted on the eTenderWales (Bravo Solutions) online e-sourcing portal, which can be accessed through this web address: https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk/. You will need to be registered as a supplier on both Sell2Wales and eTenderWales to participate and access the PQQ and download documents. To access and download the documents you will need to be logged into eTenderWales and search for the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). All correspondence will be conducted through the eTenderWales portal. Evaluation of Bidders’ PQQ responses will be undertaken on the basis set out in the PQQ and this PQQ Descriptive Document, following which a shortlist of the 6 highest scoring Bidders will progress to Invitation to Tender (ITT). In the absence of 6 qualifying Bidders, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to proceed with a smaller number of qualified Bidders.
