Description

NHS Shared Business Services act in an Agency capacity for and on behalf of its customers (Approved Organisations) - existing and new. These comprise of NHS and Social Care organisations (whether acting individually, or on behalf of, or together as members of any consortia) along with any other public or private sector bodies which NHS SBS authorises to use the resulting Framework. NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) has put in place a Framework Agreement for the provision of Audio-Visual Solutions & Integrated Operating Theatres and related Goods and Services for Healthcare to be used by NHS SBS Approved Organisations.

Lot Division

1	Integrated Operating Theatres Lot 1 covers the provision, delivery and installation of Audio-visual products bringing 4K, 8K and HD technology into operating theatres for diagnostic and training purposes.
2	Multi-Disciplinary Team Room and Conferencing Facility Room Lot 2 covers the provision, delivery and installation of Audio-visual products enabling teams to meet remotely or on site for diagnostic and discharge purposes.
3	Audio Visual (AV) Hardware & Software Lot 3 covers the provision, delivery and installation of TV and AV products
4	Digital Signage Lot 4 covers the provision of Digital Signage: Supply, delivery and installation of internal and external information screens and associated software solutions.
5	Bedside Entertainment Solutions Lot 5 covers the provision, delivery and installation of interactive bedside entertainment equipment providing interactive TV and Wi-Fi services to patients.
6	Patient Check-In Devices Lot 6 covers the provision, delivery and installation of patient check-in kiosks, enabling patients to check-in for GP and hospital appointments upon arrival.

Other Information

The Term of this Framework Agreement shall be 24 months from the Commencement Date and may be extended provided that the duration of this Framework Agreement shall be no longer than 4 years in total. NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) can confirm that the Audio-Visual Solutions & Integrated Operating Theatres 2 will be operational from 17/11/2023 - 16/11/2025 with an option to extend for a further 2 years. NHS Shared Business Services Limited (NHS SBS) completed an open procedure for the procurement of the Framework Agreement for the provision of Audio-Visual Solutions & Integrated Operating Theatres and related Goods and Services for Healthcare to be used by NHS SBS Approved Organisations. This Framework Agreement is for the supply, delivery, installation, support, and maintenance of audio-visual solutions for integrated operating theatres, meeting room facilities and other suitable environments within the NHS and other public or private sector organisations. Some purchases under this Framework Agreement may have requirements that can be met under this Framework Agreement but the purchase of which may be exempt from the Procurement Regulations. In such cases, Call-off Contracts from this Framework will be unregulated purchases for the purposes of the Procurement Regulations, and Approved Organisations may, at their discretion, modify the terms and conditions of any Call-off Contracts to reflect that Approved Organisation's specific needs.
