Description

This project will develop an online service that produces analyses of fire patterns for the protected areas of Madagascar. The analyses will be based on the 500m resolution burnt area data sourced from satellite sensors to be provided by the client. A range of analyses can be produced such as fire frequencies and time-since-last-burnt across different periods and these will be tailored to the needs of the client. These reports can be used to show how fire patterns have changed over time in these protected areas and the nature of the changes can be used to help assess impacts and guide management.
