Other Information
Interested technology providers should complete and submit an Open Nuclear application via the Open Nuclear website (https://opennuclear.nnlinnovation.wazoku.com). The challenge is open to any organisation who feel they can meet the technical requirements. The closing date for applications will be the 18 April 2024 at 12noon. Interested organisations should note that the issue of this PIN may not result in a full procurement exercise being conducted. The outcome of the Open Nuclear challenge will determine whether a full procurement exercise will follow. We would therefore encourage any organisation that has the capability, knowledge and experience in air-free techniques for undertaking chemical research with air-sensitive substances to respond to this PIN and visit the Open Nuclear website for further information on this Open Nuclear challenge. If Open Nuclear progresses to a future procurement opportunity for a technique, technology or methodology that allows NNL to carry out these leach tests, the learning gathered from the Open Nuclear technology study may be shared with all potential suppliers, noting that commercially sensitive information will not be included.
