Legal Justification

NIE Networks requires additional 300kV Capacitor Voltage Transformers from the incumbent supplier primarily due to increased requirements in excess of the forecast at the time of the published Contract Award Notice. Furthermore, due to significant lead times it is necessary for NIE Networks to place orders to ensure continued supplies of these units, which are critical to maintain operations, until the award of the new procurement process. This procurement process will commence in 2024.
