Histopathology outsourcing service that links in with Cambridge University Hospital
Total Quantity or Scope
To provide a histopathology outsourcing service to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn NHS Foundation Trust. This must include overnight courier of prostate core biopsies, wet processing including any additional stains, reporting, access to LIMS system to view reports and transportation of prepared samples to CUHFT.The Trust are intending to award a contract to an existing provider following the most suitable provider process.This is a new contract with a new supplier. The contract is for 12 months from 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2024.

Legal Justification
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 10th April 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
