Description

Redevelopment of pitches at the Lockyer Avenue Playing Fields Spraying of existing grass cover, topsoil strip, regrading of exposed subsoil to uniform levels/falls, replacement of topsoil, cultivations, sand amelioration, seed bed preparation, seeding of working area and initial maintenance. Check the tender documents and notify us immediately if there are any omissions. One copy of the completed tender must be returned as detailed in the tender invitation letter. Tenders must arrive no later than as on the invitation letter. Tenders submitted after this deadline will not be accepted. When no Tender is submitted all documents must be returned. Tenders shall note that the Contract Sum is a fixed price. The Contract Price Fluctuations Clause is not included. The Tenderer's attention is drawn to the need to satisfy himself as to the conditions on site. All Tenderers are advised that they must not enter into any land or premises for the purpose of carrying out surveys or site investigation works without first obtaining the written approval of the Contract Manager and the owners and occupiers of the lands or premises affected by the works. The Employer does not bind itself to accept any design or tender. Contractor's tendering do so at their own cost and their tender shall remain open for a period of TWELVE weeks from the due date for submission.

The contractor shall submit all details and drawings necessary for the Employer to make a full appraisal of the submission. Failure to provide adequate information may jeopardise full consideration of the tender. In order to facilitate the proper comparisons of tenders, no unauthorised alterations to the tender documents shall be made. Tenders containing unauthorised alterations or qualifications may be rejected. If you desire to make any changes, your proposals should be submitted to us in time to be considered and, if approved, circulated to all tenderers. Any costs relating to items which are not priced will be deemed to have been included elsewhere in your tender. Site inspection should be carried out by prior arrangement with The Contract Manager.
