Description

The council currently have an infrastructure of 368 Electronic Notice Boards (ENB) and utilise this mobile technology to transmit information to our estate residents and community centres. Electronic notice boards can show images, posters, film, animation, web pages and potentially integrate with other software packages to show live data. All boards have three interactive buttons to enable internal and external stakeholders to navigate around the electronic notice boards content on the four priority areas. The council has an existing contract for the maintenance, hosting a bespoke media platform and provision of the data sim cards for the council. This re-procurement is to acquire a new contract to ensure service and supply continuity to our ENB’s. This procurement is to acquire a new contract to ensure the goods and services continue to be supplied by the new Service Provider without any break in continuity. The screens are backlit LED and are energy rated A. They are housed in a vandal proof casing and are predominately placed within communal areas i.e. lobby areas, lifts and walkways to ensure that they are seen by most residents. These locations are identified in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure there is adequate power and space for the board.
