Description

This is an intention to award the contract for an existing service to an existing provider following a direct award process C for the Children and Young People's 0-19 Contract. The Bolton Children's Integrated Health and Wellbeing Service (0-19 service) provides an integrated evidence based public health service which ensures to protect and improve population health and wellbeing outcomes and reduce inequalities for all local children and young people.

Total Quantity or Scope

Utilising the Public Selection Regime, the Direct Award Process C was used. As detailed in the PSR Guidance: Direct award process C may be used when all of the following apply: • the relevant authority is not required to follow direct award processes A or B • the term of an existing contract is due to expire, and the relevant authority proposes a new contract to replace the existing contract at the end of its term • the proposed contracting arrangements are not changing considerably • the relevant authority is of the view that the existing provider (or group of providers) is satisfying the existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed contract to a sufficient standard.
