Description
Norfolk County Council is looking to replace its asset management database system with centralised fault management facilities. The Solution is intended to support the management of Traffic Signal equipment and other highway-associated systems. The Solution is intended to act as a UTMC-compliant hub interfacing with the existing UTC traffic signal control system and the Traffic Signal Maintenance Supplier’s Fault Management System. It is required to support daily asset management, replacing the current 'Osprey' UTMC compliant XML CDMF system.
Total Quantity or Scope
It is required to support daily asset management, replacing the current 'Osprey' UTMC compliant XML CDMF system.The Solution is expected to be based on the existing XML database, ensuring a seamless handover. The Solution must be provided as a hosted solution, with the capability to interface with future hosted versions of UTC and other UTMC compliant systems. The Solution is essential to support Norfolk County Council’s daily management and maintenance of traffic signal assets and their associated system infrastructure. These assets and systems must comply with the statutory obligation of the Highway Network Management duty outlined in The Traffic Management Act 2004.
Renewal Options
The Contract may be extended by 48 months in up to 24 months periods at the Council’s discretion.
