UKRI wishes to establish a Contract for the provision of Landscape and Grounds Maintenance, reactive and remedial works at STFC. The site addressed for delivery of the goods and/or services are as follows: a.Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell Campus, Didcot, OX11 0QX b.STFC Chilbolton Observatory, Drove Road, Chilbolton, SO20 6BJ c.The Cosener’s House, 15-16 Abbey Close, Abingdon, OX14 3JD The estimated value of the opportunity is up to £1,668,000.00 excluding VAT across a potential 4 year term Due to the size, UKRI-3815 Annex Folder will be sent to Suppliers separate via a link upon request. Total Quantity or Scope

The estimated value of the opportunity is up to £1,668,000.00 excluding VAT across a potential 4 year term, broken down approximately as follows: Planned Preventative Maintenance: up to £330,000 per year Reactive and Remedial Works: up to £65,000 per year Estimate of PPM/reactive for new areas: £12,000 per year. Projects works: up to £10,000 per year Total spend: £417,000 per year The full technical specification for this procurement can be found at Appendix A. It is essential that this Appendix is fully read, understood and assessed when considering this opportunity. Suppliers are to submit their request for the UKRI-3815 Annex Folder, through the message centre on the Delta eSourcing Portal. Site Tour: UKRI STFC will be holding a site tour for this requirement. It is strongly recommended that potential suppliers attend the site tour at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in order to gain complete clarity of the requirements and environment you would be working in. The site tour will be held on Tuesday 25th June 2024 at 10:00am and will last no more than 2 hours. Two attendees from each supplier organisation are permitted to attend a site tour at RAL. To book on to the site tour, please submit the names, email addresses and vehicle registration numbers of those attending via the message function on the Delta eSourcing Portal. Please confirm your attendance no later than 14:00 Friday 21st June 2024.

Renewal Options

This contract is for 3 years, with an optional extension of one year starting from approximately 1st November 2024, and the agreement shall be in place until 31st October 2027 with an optional extension to 31st October 2028. A 1-month mobilisation period will take place for the Service Provider, which will commence 30th September 2024.
