Description
The aims of the Service are to: Ensure that members have a voice that is heard and responded to. Improve services through co-production and the involvement of people with lived experience Supporting people to stay well with the right support Reduce inequalities for people with mental health issues
Total Quantity or Scope
The Service Provider to deliver the following: Recruitment, training, and support of people with lived experience to enable them to speak up on behalf of people with mental health issues and contribute meaningfully to the Mental Health Co-production Board (MHCB) and task and finish groups in accordance with the Hertfordshire County Council Coproduction Standards. Support should be tailored to individual needs and include supporting access to training delivered by HCC and developing the skills and confidence to effectively speak up and represent people with mental health issues. Recruitment, training, and support of people with lived experience to enable them to speak up on behalf of people with mental health issues and contribute meaningfully to meetings, task and finish groups and networking events either for Hertfordshire County Council (Mental Health Co-production Board) or the Mental Health Collaborative A minimum of ten (10), trained peer facilitators workers delivering peer support groups across the County (per year). Deliver or support training delivered by HCC or its partners by supporting a person with lived experience to co-facilitate or deliver aspects of the training. A bi-annual survey together with Carers in Herts Training and support for Service Users to enable them to become more involved and have an improved understanding of processes and issues and how their input can influence them. The Council is intending to award this Contract to our existing provider following Direct Award Process C under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) The Contract will commence on the 1st August 2024 and will be for a three (3) year core period with the option to extend for up to a further two (2) years. The approximate life time value of this Contract is as stated in II.1.7 above

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by 17th July 2024. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
