Description
NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board sought to commission a dedicated nursing care home AQP Framework to support the fair cost of care across providers and manage escalating costs within CHC. The AQP Framework Provider will be expected to: • Lead the development of a service specification which sits within the NHS Standard Contract and engage nursing care providers in this process. • Undertake due diligence checks on all providers who wish to join the AQP Framework. • Gather feedback and support small scale changes on an annual basis through a contract variation process. • Implement NHS Standard Contract Variation Agreements e.g. update prices. • Draft contract variations and issue for signature to all AQP providers. • Provide procurement software for speed, security, and user experience. • Hold the signed agreements on behalf of CHC. The Commissioner is directly awarding a contract to Evalucom Consulting in accordance with the G-Cloud 13 guidance. The total value of the initial 36-month contract term is £306,000 (excl VAT), with an optional extension of up to 12 months. The 36-month contract period commenced on the 1st August 2024. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner(s).
