Devon County Council (DCC) would like to commence market engagement activity, supporting opportunities with providers to inform the future design of: - Education placements for children and young people with special education needs & disabilities (SEND) and statutory Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCP's) - Alternative education support services for children and young people in Devon DCC will be hosting market warming events to formally engage with providers and stakeholders. Events will be a mixture of short presentations and workshop style activities, discussion and collaboration. The first events will take place on Monday 14th October 2024 in person, venue to be confirmed. Event 1 (Bespoke education placements for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) Independent Sector) - Monday 14th October 2024, 10am -1pm. This will be focused on exploring feedback and elements of design linked to any future bespoke education and learning placements for children and young people with SEND and EHCP's within independent settings.
