Description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to notify the market of the PEACEPLUS Programme’s intention to hold a Pre- market engagement for PEACEPLUS Community Empowerment Programme Tender. This project contributes to the implementation of the Thriving and Peaceful Communities theme under the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan. This Contract is to deliver a community capacity building programme across Belfast, inclusive of 10 local community empowerment programmes, accredited leadership programme, a non-accredited capacity building programme, a community capacity building forum and best practice visits and learning events to 1,000 people over 3 years., within an allocated budget of £903,578 (excluding VAT). over 3 years from December 2024 to November 2027. The PEACEPLUS Community Empowerment Programme forms parts of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Total Quantity or Scope

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to notify the market of Belfast City Council’s intentions to hold a pre-market engagement event with interested suppliers to provide information on the PEACEPLUS Community Empowerment Programme and inform of the procurement process required. The Community Empowerment Programme Pre-Market Engagement Event will take place on Friday 13th September 2024 at 10:00am-12:00pm in Markets Community Centre, 1 Market Street, Belfast BT7 2BS. This session is for suppliers who would like to learn more about the PEACEPLUS Community Empowerment Programme. The session will provide information the project requirements, key deliverables and results, the procurement process and the indicative timeframes for the project. Suppliers must register by Tuesday 10th September 2024, by emailing peacepluslap@belfastcity.gov.uk A maximum of 2 individuals can register to attend, further detail will be issued to registered attendees in advance of the session.
