Description
Providers of supported accommodation services targeted at young people aged 16-25, are invited to participate in a second online market engagement consultation event on Thursday 3rd October 2024. The market engagement relates to Westminster City Council intention to procure a range of service provisions for supported housing for young people within the borough of Westminster to enable delivery of its forthcoming Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy and associated Commissioning Plan. The intended procurement will be conducted under the "Light Touch Regime" in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
Total Quantity or Scope
Providers of supported accommodation services in targeted at young people aged 16-25, are invited to participate in a second online market engagement consultation event on Thursday 3rd October 2024. The market engagement relates to Westminster City Council intention to procure a range of service provisions for supported housing for young people within the borough of Westminster to enable delivery of its forthcoming Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy and associated Commissioning Plan. The intended procurement will be conducted under the "Light Touch Regime" in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The procurement will seek to source a broad range of service providers to support the Council to allow individuals to experience inclusive lives through empowering these themes within the commissioned services: A culture which is supportive and caring as well as being self-sufficient – Services that value their staff and encourage upskilling. Pre-independence services which focus on move-on readiness and effective move-on planning while managing expectations. Accommodation, which is high-quality, psychologically informed, and conducive to promoting growth and development. Accommodation and support options which encourage/allow young people to work and maintain employment, as well as opportunities to pursue further education. Services which place co-production within their provision as a fundamental part of their operations – This will be fundamental to all of the points above. This prior information notice is not the start of a procurement process and interested provider organisations should note it is neither the intention nor purpose of the engagement events or consultation questionnaire to confer any advantage to participants regarding any future procurement process. The date of the online consultation event will be Thursday 3rd October 12-1pm via Teams. The workshop will explore the commissioning of local supported living services for young people and is primarily aimed at existing and potential providers of these services within the borough.
