Description

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited for the design, supply, and installation of solar canopies in council owned car parks in Three Rivers. The purpose of this EOI is to: 1.Test the market for contractors that have experience of designing, suppling and installing solar canopies. 2.Identify a short-list of contractors that will be invited to propose (through a tender exercise) how they would support the council to develop investment-grade business cases for solar canopy projects. The appointed contractor will initially be tasked with fully designing and costing the solar canopies for the car park(s) identified as most feasible (because the feasibility study is based on a candidate solar canopy design and outline costs). Stage 2 of the Community Energy Fund provides up to £100k to develop investment-grade business cases. The full design (or sourcing) and accurate costing of the solar canopies will be a key element of creating those businesses case(s). Therefore, the council wishes to initially appoint a contractor to help develop the business cases, using the feasibility study information. Please review the attached Expression of Interest which provides full details of the scheme. The Council is using this advert to shortlist for either Stage 1 or Stage 2 (or both) elements of the scheme.
