Other Information

The RTPI offer in the Liverpool City Region is currently made up of digital screens at all staffed bus stations and 97 bus stops, and stop specific QR codes at 600 stops. This offer is delivered by a number of suppliers with separate contracts for hardware and software. A new project is planned to deliver RTPI using a single supplier for both hardware and software. Commencing September 2025, the software solution will replace our current contract, and hardware will be rolled out at stops along our Green Bus Routes in line with the construction scheduled for the programme. Hardware to replace the current screens at staffed bus stations will be rolled out over a period up to 2028. We are looking to hold market engagement sessions to inform the specification document to ensure clear requirements are defined when we progress to formal procurement.
